About us

We’ve come a long way since founders Mark Ellis and Martin Churchward (the ‘two Ms’) joined forces in 1987 to sell end of line clearance sports products. We’re now one of Europe’s leading online, off price retailer offering global brands at the lowest prices, with over 1.3 million active customers and 50 million website visits a year. We currently have dedicated local market websites covering the UK, German, French, Austrian, Dutch and Polish markets in addition to dispatching to another 20+ countries worldwide. Our success is down to our commitment to seek out the biggest fashion and sports brands at the lowest prices with up to 75% off recommended retail prices all year round. The dynamics in our market are strong, driven by an increasing demand for brand names at low prices, delivered from an online platform.

We’re proud to be different, we’re on sale 365 days a year - where other retailers have sales and discounts to entice you back we offer you the “biggest brands at everyday low prices”.

We’ve built our leading proposition through our long term working relationships with the brands we sell, and we are constantly searching for new deals for our customers. We have a strong track record demonstrating our ability to excite our customers and we are excited about the future and are confident that we have the right people, processes, infrastructure and operations in place to continue to grow both in the UK and internationally.

WEEE Regs Compliance

We take compliance with environmental regulations conscientiously and as such are members of the Valpak “Distributor Take-back Scheme” for compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006. Under this scheme the following advice for recycling WEEE products is offered to customers:

• Batteries for disposal should be placed in appropriate receptacles which are generally provided at most major supermarkets.

• Electrical/electronic products may be disposed of at Designated Collection Facilities (DCF).

The WEEE symbol indicates that the produce should not be disposed of in domestic bins for onward transfer to landfill sites, but should be disposed of in a WEEE specific waste stream (ie at a DCF).

Customers are encouraged to assist in this compliance as we are all responsible for the protection of both the environment and human health as WEEE items can contain hazardous substances which may be released if disposed of incorrectly.

For further information on your local Designated Collection Facilities, customers can visit www.recycle-more.co.uk

Any customer queries on this matter may be directed to environmental@mandmdirect.com
