US Private Equity TA Associates complete a major investment in M and M Direct Ltd. Steve Robinson formerly CEO of Tesco Direct and previously FD of Argos takes over from Mike Tomkins as CEO. M and M Direct was formerly majority owned by its founders Mike Tomkins and ECI. Mike Tomkins and management re-invest in new company formed by TA Associates, Mike Tomkins now a Non Executive Director.

Teenage Cancer Trust
The Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) is a charity supported by mandmdirect since 2005. TCT is devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer, achieving its goals through a number of fundraising initiatives. These include high profile concerts with artists including The Who, Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller, and sponsored treks and community and personal charitable giving.
In the mandmdirect catalogue and website, a special TCT donation logo is featured next to products where a donation will be made to the charity by the brand or licensee and mandmdirect. Brands that have supported mandmdirect with selected product for special donations include Timberland, adidas and other leading fashion brands.
