DIGITAL DESIGN EXECUTIVE

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative individual into the role of Digital Design Executive within our Marketing department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing digital creative in line with our Marketing Activity Calendar. This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or someone seeking an entry level opportunity into this area of Digital Marketing.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Producing online merchandising creative that adheres to brand identity and guidelines
  • Designing and coding HTML marketing emails
  • Assisting in the creation and coding of customer facing website pages such as homepages, landing pages etc
  • Providing creative for the MandM Direct affiliates and social media sites
  • Collating, formatting and uploading product images to the website
  • Ensuring graphics folders are logically organised on both the creative drive and FTP server

You will have an Art and Design / Multimedia degree or similar and be literate in the areas of web design (including FTP).

You will also possess a sound knowledge of Windows and design applications, including Photoshop and Dreamweaver or similar as well as a good understanding of HTML and CSS.

Location and hours:
This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm based in Leominster.


MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE (INTERNATIONAL)

We are currently seeking to recruit a creative individual to join the Marketing team in the role of Marketing Communications Executive (International).

This role is responsible for all aspects of the implementation process of new international territories – Currently Poland & the Netherlands email and homepage programmes in accordance with the marketing trading plan.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Managing the email and homepage production process to include the creation of briefs, links and prices, in accordance with the trading calendar
  • Day-to-day management of the email schedule, ensuring all mailings are delivered correctly and to schedule
  • Producing, adapting and improving email templates to support the email plan
  • Proofing of the email and homepage creative including spelling, links and offer codes
  • Dispatching the emails and monitoring each send’s delivery, open and click through rates
  • Ensuring the correct content and promotions have gone live at the right time and all are working correctly
  • Ensuring all marketing activity for emails and homepages are delivered in a timely manner with good attention to detail

Essential knowledge/skills:

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good understanding of the English language including spelling and grammar
  • The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

Desirable:

  • Experience of setting up and deploying emails in an ESP
  • Experience in customer retention
  • Polish or Dutch language (written and verbal)

ONLINE ANALYST

An opportunity has arisen within the Marketing department for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join the Customer Insight team in the role of Online Analyst.

This is an ideal opportunity for an adaptable, enthusiastic individual who has a genuine interest in marketing and online shopping behaviours. The position will require learning new tools, with full training provided.

Main duties will include:

  • Supporting the analytic needs of the business by analysing web traffic metrics and trends
  • Creating, managing and maintaining dashboards for daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Continually analyse website traffic from all marketing sources; identifying customer segments, understanding visitor paths and conversion rates
  • Supporting marketing, and working with external agencies, to test and analyse online campaigns

Candidates must:

  • Have good Excel skills
  • Be keen to learn
  • Have a logical approach

SOFTWARE SUPPORT ANALYST

We are currently recruiting a Software Support Analyst to join the IT team.

Main duties will include:

  • Providing technical support and/or management of third parties; including out of hours, as required
  • Supporting DBA, QA and Development functions to document, test and implement changes to the systems, within the remit of the role
  • Creating and maintaining appropriate documentation on the organisation’s applications, settings, configurations and architecture
  • Contributing to business requirements and recommending solutions, for all requested changes to the systems within the remit of the role
  • Analysing, publishing and managing risks and issues, within the remit of the role
  • Defining and implementing support and development processes with third parties
  • Adhere with company project governance standards

Essential skills and experience:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a fast moving environment, within retail or a high transaction based business
  • Windows Server admin skills
  • Good working knowledge of IIS and SQL
  • Good communications skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Unix/Linux
  • Warehouse management systems
  • Management of and reporting from corporate management information systems

This is a full time, permanent position and will be based in Leominster, Herefordshire.


HELPDESK ANALYST

We are seeking a motivated individual with an ambition to build a career in IT to join the department initially on a temporary basis possibly leading to an on-going contract.

The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of experienced Helpdesk Analysts to provide 1st line support for internal customers.

Main duties will include:

  • Answering helpdesk calls
  • Providing desktop side support for end users in both the head office and logistics sites of the business
  • Providing Technical support for Software/Hardware
  • Logging, escalating, delegating and effectively managing helpdesk tickets and calls appropriately until closure
  • Preparation of management and business reports
  • Undertaking of business operational activities
  • Co-ordinating with third party service partners for incident management and procurement requirements

The ideal candidate will be a clear and effective communicator who is able to achieve an excellent level of customer satisfaction. A ‘can do’ approach with a strong focus on team-working is essential.

Other skills/expertise that would be beneficial:

  • Awareness of key business systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Fredhopper
  • Good customer service skills and the use of a ticket/call logging system
  • A good understanding of PC architecture and associated Operating Systems
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, on a shift rota between 7am and 7pm. Applicants will be expected to provide out of hours emergency cover on a rota basis.

An opportunity has arisen for a methodical, proactive individual to join the Merchandising team as Assistant Data Analyst. This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or someone seeking an entry level opportunity into the Buying and Merchandising team.

The position will involve the following:

  • The creation, running and maintenance of merchandising reports
  • Using these reports to supply the merchandising team with all data needs
  • Supporting the Merchandising Planning Manager with size ratios and planning templates
  • Ad hoc data reporting/analysis
  • Stock analysis
  • Data mining – large scale analysis to discover trends/patterns

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • High level of attention to detail
