Warehouse Recruitment Days

At MandM Direct our busiest time of year is nearly upon us and we have full time, temporary Christmas contracts available in our Warehouse at Moreton-on-Lugg, Herefordshire.

Come and join us at the following Warehouse recruitment days:

Tuesday 23rd September 2014 – 10am – 4pm at the Shire Hall, Hereford. HR1 2HY.

Thursday 25th September 2014 – 10am – 4pm at The Royal British Legion, Leominster. HR6 8JQ.

Bilingual Customer Service Operator (French)

We are currently seeking an adaptable, customer focused individual fluent in French for the role of Bilingual Customer Service Operator within the Contact Centre.

Candidates must be fully flexible in covering all aspects of the Customer Service function of the Contact Centre to include:

  • Respond to French customer service calls professionally and in accordance with company policies and escalate any issues to your Team Leader/Duty Manager that cannot be resolved on the phone
  • Retrieve delivery information from courier websites and communicate this to our customers avoiding company jargon
  • Raise trace enquiries relating to delivery information in accordance with individual couriers processes
  • Assess responses regarding trace information from carriers/couriers and react accordingly, arranging replacement parcels/refunds as required
  • Liaise with the Fulfilment Team to arrange any collections or escalate complaints
  • Ensure all French website emails are responded to in a professional manner within agreed KPI
  • Contact customers by telephone where applicable to gain quickest resolution to problem
  • Translate all product information from English into French
  • Assist UK Customer Service Team and other departments as and when required

Candidates must be confident with both spoken and written English and French. The ideal candidate should have a polite and professional telephone manner and be dedicated to giving a very high standard of customer care. The ability to speak and correspond in German would be an advantage.

Location and hours:

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm and will be based in Leominster, Herefordshire.


Insight Executive

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual for the role of Insight Executive to join our growing team, delivering actionable customer insight.

Working closely with Marketing and external agencies, and using a range of data sources and research, the successful candidate will analyse our campaigns and customer behaviour to help the business understand our customers.

Main duties will include:

  • Providing weekly and monthly customer reports including new, active, lapsed and reactivated metrics
  • Analysing customer acquisition channels and customer LTV
  • To provide summary customer profiles for our Buying department as required
  • Helping develop customer personas
  • To analyse TV and other above the line advertising
  • Analysing catalogue response and other factors affecting response – email engagement, customer type etc.
  • Providing catalogue data briefs based on test results
  • To work closely with the other teams on a range of campaigns and projects.
  • To document all new analysis processes and review existing report procedures
  • Keeping up to date with analysis techniques

Skills and experience required:

  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Have a logical approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of one or more database or analytic packages – e.g. SQL, Smartfocus, Faststats, SPSS - would be desirable but full training for the right individual can be provided
  • Experience of working in a commercial, fast-paced environment
  • A proven passion for ecommerce
  • Ability to summarise facts and figures to the wider business

Location and hours:
This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm based in Leominster.
